Preschoolers 3-6

PreschoolersAs children move into independence in the preschool years, the learning program becomes more structured, meaningful and purposeful. Our preschoolers are encouraged to approach the world with confidence, curiosity and an aspiration to learn. We achieve this through a mix of child-initiated play and adult-led activity, for which the preschoolers master key life skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, working and communicating with others, and gaining an understanding of the world and how it works.

The Reach for the Stars Preschool program has been developed to lay the foundation that prepares every child to be ready for the next exciting stage of their life!

Our school readiness program has been integrated into our preschool program and exclusively tailored for children who will be starting school the following year. Our educators will guide your child through positive interactions, as key areas of learning and development are implemented in your child’s learning program, ready to equip them with the skills and confidence they need for school and beyond. Our team of health professionals and qualified educators will also complete a comprehensive school readiness evaluation.

As we live in a digital world, we empower children with helpful digital habits, so as to compliment their learning experiences. We have partnered with a number of educational programs, such as Reading Eggs and Mathletics.

A transition to school program is offered towards November, in partnerships with local schools, as we endeavour to familiarise your child with the school environment. Incorporated in the program are several visits to the school (including playground and classroom visits) and parent information evenings to help equip parents with a greater insight into your child’s next stage of life.
